What is SAT-HACK?

SAT-HACK is a hackathon that strives to build a community and expose students to computer science and related aspects. Our purpose is to enhance the exposure of computer science not only in Patiala, but also all around the region. We strongly urge all students who are interested in computer science to attend this event, regardless of skill level. SAT-HACK provides a chance to develop lasting connections and truly embrace the impact of computer science in society

This event's schedule includes beginning and ending times, along with the times of optional workshops.

Doors Open

Participants will be allowed to enter the venue from 08:00 PM to 09:00 PM. During this time, we will be checking college IDs and registration details

Opening Ceremony / Keynote Speech

During the Opening Ceremony, we will introduce the event to students, along with information regarding hacking, food, and awards. A keynote speech will be delivered by 'XYZ' as well. 'Name' is a 'Occupation' at 'Place' and will be discussing 'Topic'. Students will also form teams (if they have not already) during this time.

Hacking Begins

Students will be allowed to begin creating their projects.

Hacking Concludes / Expo Begins

Students will now have to stop hacking and become ready for the expo, where their work will be judged by professionals and seen by their peers.

Awards will be given to those who have exceeded expectations and this event will be concluded. Before they leave, students will receive swag from numerous companies and organizations.

App Development

Optional

For beginners or those who wish to participate, the App Development workshop will demonstrate how to make apps and emulate them on computers. This workshop is great for those who are new to and interested in app development.

For beginners or those who wish to participate, the Website Design workshop will demonstrate how to create a website using HTML and CSS, along with how to learn more regarding the customization of websites.

A hackathon is an event where individuals can learn more about computer science or programming and enhance their skills by creating unique projects and attending workshops. At HackTogether, students will be creating projects and competing with each other in order to win prizes and receive recognition.

For this hackathon, we are accepting all high schoolers. You will be able to attend and participate in this event if you are a high schooler, regardless of where you are from. In order to enter, however, you must bring your college ID.

In order to participate in SAT-HACK, XYZ is required. However, you will receive free food and drinks, and free swag from many technology companies.

SAT-HACK2k18 will be held at the TAN-AUDI of Thapar Institute of Engineering And Technology in Patiala, Punjab. This event will be from 08:00 PM to 09:0 AM on '16-November-18'.

Anyone who is interested in computer science is welcome to and should definitely attend this event, regardless of skill level. If you do not know how to code, you can attend the workshops and use that knowledge to create what you can alongside your peers. Don't be afraid at all to come and check it out!

You should bring a laptop, along with chargers for your phone and laptop. If you are unable to bring a laptop, however, please let us know in advance and we will make sure that you have access to a computer or laptop at the event! Also, don't forget to bring your college ID !

At this event, you will have a chance to win many prizes! Some of the awards and prizes include 'prizes'.

During this event, you will have the chance to create whatever you want! You can create apps, websties, or even computer programs that solve the issue at hand. You must, however, create the program during the hackathon! You will not be allowed to use an existing project.

App Development

For Android app develpment, a common and useful tool is Android Studio. A tool that is used for IOS app development is Xcode, which is usually already installed on Macs.

Website Design

In order to create a website, a common and sophisticated text editor is Sublime. Other popular text editors include Atom and Notepad++.

Java Programs

In order to create java programs, a java integrated developement environment is required. Some popular java integrated developement environments include IntelliJ, BlueJ, and Eclipse.
